RKFL's Metallurgy Laboratories are all NABL accredited (ISO 17025:2005) and thus have a self-certification status. The facilities are equipped to test a wide range of mechanical and chemical properties conforming to global quality standard requirements. The processes defined for handling of the raw material – Carbon, Alloy and Micro-Alloyed steel ensure the right products are passed on to its customers. Variety of sophisticated equipments including Mobily Spectrometers, Optical Microsopes, Image Analysers, Impact testing machines, Bend Testing Facilities, Strolin’s Apparatus, Fortin’s barometer, Ultrasonic Flaw Detector, Tensile Testing Machines, Eddy Current Sorters, Brinell and Rockwell hardness testers are available with which the raw material and the forged parts are checked.
