RKFL celebrated World Environment Day on June 5, 2015 in its factory premises at Jamshedpur. ED Mr. Agrawal, Plant Head Mr. Vijay Mishra, Mr . Jaydev Patsani & Departmental Heads, were the guests of honour at the function. Function started with painting the trees and distributing the saplings.
World Environment Day is observed on June 5 every year to promote awareness on the importance of preserving our biodiversity, the need to identify problems related to the environment and ways to take corrective action.
Plant 1 observed World Environment Day held on 5th June. On the eve several activities like Drawing Competition, distributing the saplings, Cleaning of Surroundings outside the factory premises. H.O celebrated this special occasion with pride and glory and with great enthusiasm.
World Environment Day has received tremendous support from the public, non-profit organizations and governments around the world. Various awareness campaigns are organised to spread the message, which is to improve the quality of life of all living beings on this planet without harming nature. All the activities of World Environment Day are carried out to spread eco-awareness and increase green footprint.
