SAP ACE Award for Customer Excellence 2012 in the “Best – Run in R&D, Design and New Product Development” category, presented at the sixth SAP ACE Awards 2012 ceremony held at Hotel ITC Maratha in Mumbai on 19th October, 2012, was received by Mr. Rajat Subhra Datta, Vice President – IT of Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd.

SAP ACE Award is an industry benchmark to recognize the pioneering and innovative use of technology for outstanding business transformation.

SAP ACE Awards have become one of the most sought after and highly recognised customer focused awards. This year, the largest number of nominations, over 330 were received from India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The selection process involved a three-step evaluation process that included performance benchmarking across five KPIs and 10 best practices followed by interviews and a detailed jury discussion with the project management teams.
